Kirchanschöring Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a pair of scales Argent in chief and a heraldic rose Argent in base.
Meaning:
The scales are an attribute of St. Michael, the local patron saint. The rose is taken from the arms of the Lords of Lampoding, who had been in service of the Archbishopric of Salzburg, practising several different clerical and mundane functions between the middle of the 13th century and the end of the 15th century. The rose is also representing the namesake former municipality, which had been incorporated in 1972.
