Shield Gules parted abased by a fess Argent parted by three isosceles trinagles Azure, above two mattocks Or in saltire.
Meaning:
The mattocks are alluding to the fact that the settlement had been established by forest clearance in the Medieval, which also can be seen by the suffix "-reuth" in the name. The fess with triangles is taken from the family arms of the Freimder kin, who held privileges in Zweifelau, nowadays a part of Immenreuth. It is also representing the other kins of noblemen holding estates and rights in the area.

The banner probably is used without approval. The arms were approved on 18 September 1973 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberpfalz.
