Shield parted by a broad fess wavy Argent charged with a beehive Gules, chief Gules charged with a 6-point star Or, base Azure.
Meaning:
The broad fess wavy is symbolising the location on the banks of the Donau River (Danube) and is also alluding to the former gravel pit, which developed since the middle of the 20th century, nowadays being a lake for recreation. The beehive is alluding to apiculture in the past. The star is an attribute of St. Mary, patron saint of the Chapter of Augsburg. It is symbolising the importance of the Bishop of Augsburg as a manorial lord. The tinctures red and white are those of the bishopric, blue and white are those of the Wittelsbach kin, local ruler since the 16th century.
