Shield Azure, at dexter a rye ear Or issuant from sinister base, at sinister a crozier Argent.
Meaning:
The rye ear is symbolising the rural character of the municipality. The crozier is symbolising the Premonstratensian Windberg Monastery and is stressing the close relationships between village and abbey since the 17th century. The tinctures silver and blue are those of the Electors of Bayern, local rulers and manorial lords in the past.
