In a blue shield are two golden (= yellow) timber rafting hooks, crossed per saltire. The hooks are flanked by three silver (= white) 8-point stars, one on the dexter side, one on the sinister side and one at the bottom.
Meaning:
he stars are taking from the arms of the Rüti (aka Reute) family, first proven owners of the village in 1350. The hooks are alluding to the economic importance of timber rafting in the 19th century.
