Baroque shield Argent, issuant from base a powder-blue triplemount, on its central peak an eradicated ash Vert.
Meaning:
Aschau was established in 1965 by a merger of Niederaschau and Hohenaschau. The ash (German: Esche) is canting. The triplemount, in naturalistic depiction is a representation of the landscape of the Pre-Alps, especially the Kampenwand mountains. The arms are based on seals of the Aschau kin, proven between 1265 and 1326. Members of the kin had been commissioners of the Counts of Falkenstein. The triplemount probably is also alluding to the counts.
