Shield Azure, a lance with pennant and a crozier in saltire both Or, over all a mattock in pale of the same.
Meaning:
Reut was established by a merger of Reut proper, Taubenbach and Randling on 1 April 1971. The mattock, a tool used for forest clearance (Bavarian: Reute) is canting, as the village was established by clearance in the Medieval. The crozier is an attribute of St. Alban of Mainz, patron saint of the church of Taubenbach, which is of great cultural importance. Lance and pennant are attributes of St. Castulus, patron saint of the church of Ebermanning, which belonged to Randling Municipality.
