Shield Or, a pall reversed Sable, flanked by a rose Gules at dexter and an oak leaf Gules at sinister, over all a fess dancetty Gules and in chief a label Azure with four points.
Meaning:
Label and fess dancetty are taken from the arms of the Lords of Siersberg and had already been in the former arms of the municipality. Rose and leaf are symbolising parks and forests. The pall reversed is symbolising the former importance of coal mining.
