Shield Gules a brewer´s vat Argent, issuant from the vat brewer´s tools Or, a ladle in bend and a shovel in bend sinister, furthermore a crozier Argent in pale.
Meaning:
The crozier of an abbess is alluding to the Niedermünster Nunnery in Regensburg and the Niederviehbach Nunnery. Both had been important manorial lords. The tinctures red and silver are those of the Chapter of Regensburg, another local manorial lord. The brewery tools are referring to the local ducal brewing authority, which also held the low level cognisance between 1769 and 1798.
