Shield Or a crozier issuant Sable in pale, superimposed by a fox salient Gules.
Meaning:
Probably the settlement was founded by the Münsterschwarzach Monastery. The monastery owned estates since 1281. These were acquired by the Fuchs of Dornheim kin during the 16th century, together with co-heirs (German: Ganerben), who only had rights in common, in terms of German legal parlance something like a "community of joint ownership". The crozier is representing the monastery as founder, the fox (German: Fuchs) its successors form the Fuchs of Dornheim kin.
