Shield off-centred parted per pale approx. 1:2, at dexter Gules a column Argent, at sinister Argent three bars Vert.
Meaning:
The column is symbolising the church of Lippoldsberg Monastery. The sinister side is representing white linen, bleached on the green meadows of Vernawahlshausen in the past. The arms were designed by Heinz Hartung.
