Shield Azure on base Vert a church Argent with roofs Gules and bulbous spire Vert topped by a crosslet Or, in front of the church a fir Vert.
Meaning:
The arms are canting, as the fir is representing a wood (German: Wald) with a church (German: Kirche) therein. The first local seal with the arms on a shield and a circumscription with initials and a coat of arms carved in stone both contain "1637". The current version appeared first on a medal of the mayor and in literature since 1862. A local seal from 1803 displays the church in other direction.

The banner is in use without approval. According to a local report from 1835 the arms were granted in 1637 by Archduke Leopold Wilhelm of Österreich (Austria) as Bishop of Passau in 1637.
