Eichstetten Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Or a bend Gules, at sinister Argent an oak twig Vert with an acorn on top.
Meaning:
To avoid Austrian expansion of 1418 the Margraves of Baden-Hachberg founded the market towns of Emmendingen, Malterdingen and Eichstetten. The latter had own court seals with prints since 1424, displaying the Badenian bend and an acorn as local symbol. Since the 18th century the acorn was replaced on seals by an oak twig. The current arms are based on these seals.
