Shield Azure a pale Or charged with three chevrons reversed Gules and flanked by two fleur-de-lis Or.
Meaning:
In 1537 Anton Fugger acquired village and castle of Glött. Johann Ernst Fugger (1590 – 1639) established the Fugger-Glött branch of the family. In the arms of that branch there had been besides the fleur-de-lis of the Fugger kin also the pale with chevrons, which was originally taken from the arms of the Lords of Bollweiler, whose possessions were inherited by the Fugger kin in 1655. During the Fugger era the muncipality had the rights of a market town between 1786 and 1818.
