Meaning:
The watermill is alluding to the name giving valley of Schlaube, a local creek. The three spots of the trout and the three acorns and oak leaves are probably alluding to the three former municipalities of Kieselwitz, Bremsdorf and Fünfeichen, which merged on 26 October 2003.

Meaning:
The three grain ears are representing the former municipalities of Schernsdorf, Rießen and Pohlitz. The millwheel is alluding to the Schernsdorf watermill. Hammer and mallet are alluding to the local metal processing industry.
