It is a red - white vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Ratshausen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a trowel Argent.
Meaning:
Municipal seals from the 19th century displayed the trovel in an oval shield until 1930. The trowel reminds on the fact that many inhabitants had to earn their living in the past by working as bricklayers out of area. The colours are those of the Counts of Hohenberg.

The banner was approved on 21 May 1981 by the county administration, published in GABl 352/1982, the approved flag was however white-red. The coat of arms was approved on 27 March 1950 by Minister of Interior of Württemberg-Hohenzollern.
