Shield Argent, a demi-stag salient issuant from e demi-8-point-star Azure.
Meaning:
The Lords of Hirschheid used seals since the 14th century, displaying the stag either issuant from a triplemount or from the half 8-point star. The local council erroneously denoted the latter, being displayed on local court seals, as an old local symbol. The tinctures are those of the Lords of Hirschheid, known since the 16th century.
