Weiltingen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Vert a tilt helm Or, beneath Gules a castle Argent with roofs Azure on a mountain Azure issuant from base.
Meaning:
Court seals from the 17th century displayed just the helmet under a little angel in chief. The current pattern is based on the 2nd seal, known by prints since 1772. In 1847 the arms were approved, but the tinctures were not fixed. Otto Hupp added the tincture based on a draft from 1846. The castle probably represents the ruined local castle of the Dukes of Württemberg. The origin of the helmet is unknown.
