Shield Gules, in base a saltire Argent, in chief a church Argent with its belfry at dexter.
Meaning:
The church (German: Kirche) is a canting element. The saltire and tinctures are taken from the arms of the Princes of Oettingen, who had been founders and reeves of the local Cistercian monastery.
