The emblem taken over from the Lommis court rule and goes back to the Toggenburg servants in Lommis.
On 1 January 1995 Lommis merged with Kalthäusern and Weingarten to the new commune of Lommis and kept its old emblem.

The crowned lion comes from the coat of arms of the servants of Sonnenberg. The cross corresponds to the emblem of the commandery of Tobel.

Sable a grape vine issuant from the base Or with four bunches and five leaves of this Last.

Canting emblem (Weingarten = vineyard) in the colours of the Counts of Toggenburg, who had all important rights in the village.
