The municipality of Ibaiti (31,854 inhabitants in 2021; 89,685 ha) is located
300 km north-west of Curitiba.
The flag of Ibaiti is horizontally divided
green-yellow-white (1:2:1), charged in the center with the municipal coat of
arms.

The flag and arms of Ibaiti were originally prescribed by Municipal Law No.
49 promulgated on 6 November 1970.
Article 2.
The coat of arms of
Itaibi features the following elements.
A. An eight-towered mural crown.
B. In upper left part a pair of scales, representing the municipality's date of
birth (Libra) and justice.
C. On the right side
[Cut]
E. [The shield
supported] left by a branch of coffee, representing the main crop, and right by
a maize plant representing cereal production.
F. An emerald green scroll with
the municipality's date of creation and name.
Article 3.
The flag of
Ibaiti is described as follows.
Rectangular, divided in three yellow, white
and green stripes.
A. The yellow stripe represents the municipality's
exuberance and income produced by the labor of its inhabitants.
B. The white
stripe represents peace and fraternity, which are attributes of Ibaiti's
community.
C. The green stripe represents forests, agriculture and hope.
D. The central white stripe is charged with two branches of coffee, our main
crop.
