Jewish War Veterans of America Post 25 was founded in 1929 as a local post of
Jewish War Veterans of the USA (JWV). The post held annual commemorative events
on Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Yom HaShoah, volunteered at the Veterans
Affairs Hospitals, and participated in a range of other service and educational
programming for the wider community.
A purple-field flag of the "Buffalo
Frontier Post 25 ... Buffalo New York ...Jewish War Veterans of the United
State". It was founded in 1929, but closed in 2020.

The blue-field flag of the "Lt. Bernard H. Wiener ... Belle Harbor Post No. 258 ... Belle Harbor Long Island [NY] ... Jewish War Veterans of the United States", c. June 2006. The post/chapter was activated in Sept. 1962 and named in memory of 2nd Lt. Bernard H. Wiener, who was killed-in-action during WWII.
