The flag is confirmed.
"Tonight, June 11, 2024 our town of Mooers adopted a flag of our own!Ethan Hazel a SUNY plattsburgh student was given an assignment in his web design class to create or redesign a flag in his hometown. He reached out to our town secretary who forwarded his email to myself the Town Historian and we got to work on the history, geography and other important aspects so that he could capture a flag that would represent our Town. Ethan then presented the flag at our town board meeting tonite explaining all of the design and meanings of the colors and graphics he incorporated onto the flag. We then asked the Town Supervisor and the Chairmen to adopt this flag as our official Town of Mooers Flag. It was a unanimous decision in favor of the Flag. So after 220 years of the Town of Mooers existence as an official Town we now have a Flag. Thank You Ethan for taking on this assignment for your class and designing this beautiful flag. (He got an A for the assignment, well deserved.) We will also give the flag a home in the Veterans Park which will serve as a reminder of all who served from the Town of Mooers."
