Description of the flag

I was informed by the town clerk that Keenesburg does have a flag. It is white with the town's logo centered upon it, and was approved on September 7, 2021. Originally, a light blue background was planned in August, although the Board of Trustees believed that white would look better.

The logo is in the format of a seal, its edge being a rope. The ring is red, with the inner circle being cut off by a K. Each portion created by the K depicts an image important to Keenesburg. In one image, a railroad crossing is depicted; the railroad divides the town into two, with residents using these crossings daily. In another image, a fenced pasture with two cattle is depicted. A barn with two silos is also shown. Finally, a turnip, ear of corn, and three ears of wheat are also depicted. In the ring, above the inner part is "TOWN OF KEENESBURG", below it in smaller text "INCORPORATED 1919". On the lower part of the ring, "STATE OF COLORADO" is read. In between these two are the words "FOUNDED" and "1906".
