Kilis 7 December University, established in 2007, is composed of 6 Faculties, 2 Schools, 2 Vocational Schools and 3 Institutes.
The name of the university recalls the date of the liberation of the town during the Turkish War of Independence, 3 December 1921.
The flag of the university (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo) is white with the university's emblem.

The university now uses a new logo and thus the flag. Also, I didn't notice
anywhere that there was an old flag with the logo in English,
only in Turkish.

KİTSO was established on 6 September 1922. Transformed into a Chamber of Commerce on 23 September 1989, KİTSO was re-established on 5 December 1995 in the aftermath of the establishment of the Province of Kilis.
