Shield Purpure with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base a throughout bridge Argent masoned Sable with three arches, on chief an embattled tower Or masoned Sable with port and windows Purpure. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE ALDEIA DA RIBEIRA, VILAR MAIOR E BADAMALOS".
Meaning:
Wavy base and bridge had been part of any of the commune´s predecessors, a tower appears on the shield of two of them.

Aldeia da Ribeira, Vilar Maior e Badamalos is one of the seven communes of Sabugal Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 266 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 68,79 km².
