Former Sezelhe Commune (until 2013)

Presentation of Sezelhe

Sezelhe was one of the 18 communes of Montalegre Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 142 inhabitants in 2021 and covered 12,81 km². Sezelhe had no proper symbols, as Hiperglobal webpage shows just an empty shield.

Shield Vert a Marian crown Or bejewelled Azure, an oven Argent masoned Sable alight Gules and a dolmen Argent garnished Azure ordered per pale. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "COVELÃES".
Meaning:
The Marian crown is an attribute of St. Mary, the local patron saint.
