Shield Purpure a pillory Argent, flanked by a fleur-de-lis Or on central chief point, a well Argent pouring water of the same on dexter fess point and a watermill wheel Or on sinister fess point. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (village rank) and long white scroll, as used by united communes, reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE MONTE REAL E CARVIDE".
Meaning:
The wheel is representing former Carvide Commune, all other charges former Monte Real Commune.

Monte Real e Carvide is one of the nine communes of Leiria Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 5542 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 26,03 km².

The gridiron is an attribute of St. Lawrence, the local patron saint.
