Coat of Arms

Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, two beehives Or set in fess, in chief a plate charged with an orbicular cross Gules, issuant from base a bridge Argent masoned Sable with seven archs. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE COLMEIAS E MEMÓRIA". The commune has the old symbols of former Colmeias Commune with different scroll and inscription.

Presentation of Colmeias e Memória

is one of the nine communes of Leiria Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 4085 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 46,6 km².

Coat of Arms

The same as that one of the united commune, but with Bènard-Guedes scroll with inscription in black capitals "COLMEIAS - LEIRIA".
Meaning:
The orbicular cross is reminding on the Templars. The beehives (Portuguese: colmeias) are canting elements.

Shield Azure, an eagle Argent, armed and eyed Gules, holding an annulet Or in his claws, in base two eradicated pine trees Argent, fruited Vert, ordered per fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "MEMÓRIA - LEIRIA".
Meaning:
Within the Portuguese blazon the annulet is called a "memória". The annulet is thus canting.
