It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain blue field.

Shield Or, in base a mountain issuant Vert charged with a sheep Argent and flanked by two olive branches Vert fruited sable, in central chief a thermal fountain Azure spitting water of the same. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "MONTE DA PEDRA".
Meaning:
The name of the commune means "rocky mountain", in base we have at least a grassy mountain, so I am in doubt, whether this is a canting element.

Monte da Pedra Commune is one of the four communes of the Crato municipality (q.v.); it had 280 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 60.1 km².
