Shield Azure, in base a mountain issuant Argent with three peaks, above two sparrowhawks volant affronty Argent, in central chief a dove Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "GAVIEIRA".
Meaning:
The sparrowhawks (Port.: gaviões) seem to be canting elements.
