There is a written flag-description in the
law passed by the Council of the Warszawa-Wawer Commune on October
5, 2001. The Law says in the paragraph 4:
Coat of Arms of the Commune is a shield divided into two parts. On the right
field there is a letter "W" on the red (brick) background. Left field features
a green oak tree on the gold background. Colors of the Warszawa-Wawer Commune
are Gold and Red.
The flag is of three vertical bands: gold, red and gold. On the red
band there is a letter "W" in the gold color."
Chrystian Kretowicz, 14 Nov 2002
Here is the correct flag. The black outlines at the letter "W" are visible
on the cloth. Flag adopted on 28 Dec 1999. Ratio 5:8.
