Torzym - urban-rural commune, Sulęcin County, Lubuskie Voivodship - former name: Toruń Lubuski (1945-46); former German name: Sternberg.
Arms and flag adopted on April 2, 2003 (resolution # VI/39/03).
"Arms: on the light-blue shield there are three green hills and above them three golden six-pointed stars.
Flag: a rectangular piece of cloth in the ratio 5:8 composed of two equal horizontal bands: upper - light blue, lower - green.
In the right upper corner of the flag the three golden six-pointed stars are shown, arranged in the slant.
Colors of the flag mirror those of the heraldic shield: light blue is the background color of the shield and green is the color of the mountains pictured there.
The stars were moved from the Coat of Arms on the field of the flag according to the heraldic rules."
