In 1935 (750 years of existence of Den Bosch) all municipalities of Noord-Brabant received a banner consisting of the red-white blocks of the provincial flag, with in the canton the municipal arms. The person on the canton is St. Lambertus, patron saint of the church of Vessem.

The flag of Wintelre was adopted on 21 August 2011. The flag was designed by the Village Festival Foundation and first presented to the villagers during the opening of the renovated Wintelre village center. The flag is based on the flag of North Brabant. The lower half of the flag features blue blocks instead of red, as blue is the color of Wintelre. The two lions are self-explanatory, they believe. The round symbol in the center can be found as an ornament three times in the stained-glass windows above the main entrance of St. Willibrordus Church and twice in the side aisles. The nine stars represent the nine hamlets, which, through effective collaboration, have each managed to uniquely place Wintelre on the map. The capital letter W in the center refers to the first letter of the village name.
