No Flag

It appears Suaqui Grande does not use a municipal flag, as I could find no record of its use; the council does not seem familiar with the idea of a municipal flag, either.

Coat of Arms

It appears the coat of arms was designed by Manuel García Madrid on 20 November 1987; it was adopted likely as the council requested it from Manuel.

Surrounding the shield is a wreath with fruits, including pitayas. In front of it is a ribbon reading "SUAQUI GRANDE", along with what appears to be its rough shape and the municipal seat's location within it. At the top are two scrolls and a bird over a cactus. The upper half follows the same basic format as that of the state. On the left on a red field is the municipal building, with a ribbon cutting across reading "DIGNIDAD CON PATRIA Y FE" [Dignity with Fatherland and Faith]. In the center, the struggle of faith is visible, with the Virgin Mary in a hole being pushed by a Spanish soldier (on a red field) and indigene (on a yellow field, to the left). At the right is the St. Ignatius of Loyola church on a blue field. The lower half is in the national colors; on the green is the sun over a mountain, along with a bundle of wheat and hay. On the white is a cattle and horse head. On the red is a man panning for gold, with the mountains serving as a background. Dividing both halves is a ribbon reading "FUNDADO EN 1619 POR EL P. [Padre; Father] MARTIN BURGENCIO, S.J.", [Society of Jesus] having a red line just above and black just below the text.
