Since the municipality has no flag, there is no coat of arms.

The council informed me they do not have a municipal coat of arms, simply because they are the newest municipality in the State, being created on 23 July 2024. Even during its time as a delegation of San Luis Potosí, it only used the city's coat of arms. Interestingly, it was a municipality before 1946; it had been a municipality since the 19th century. A council has been formed (concejo municipal) but not an ayuntamiento. In fact, the Municipality since May has planned on its creation (as published in news including the election of a Municipal Chronicler).

A coat of arms was used to campaign for the creation of the Municipality, but it was never official. It succeeded in its purpose, of course, in 2023. The shield has rolled edges, depicting in the upper-left section the "La Aguadora" fountain. The upper-right section depicts a wooden plow, under it is an agave plant and a cactus for its flora. The lower-left section depicts the historic Municipal Building, from the time it was previously a municipality. The lower-right section depicts the Saint Francis of Assisi church.
