The gonfalon of El Naranjo appears to have been adopted in the 2021-2024 administration. It is white with its coat of arms centered upon it, and its bottom has the form of a triangle

Coat of Arms

The council informed me their coat of arms was adopted during the administration of 1997-2000 under Municipal President Juan Antonio Acosta Soberanes. It was designed by the Architect Lilian Guadalupe Salazar Pedraza and adopted through a contest in 1998. Article 7 of its Municipal Regulation on Police and Good Government is vague; it simply says an orange tree is found in the center and its municipal demarcation over it. Description of the coat of arms: The coat of arms has a blue border, which has a shape with a unique form. To its sides are five yellow discs on each side. At the top, the year 1994 is read; this is when it became a municipality. In the center, a shield is depicted outlined in green, and has in its center an orange tree (a direct representation of its name El Naranjo, place of orange trees) over solid ground. Over the orange tree is an image of the municipal boundaries of El Naranjo in blue.. Under all of this, a ribbon reads "EL NARANJO".
