About the flag

The flag of Edineţ County Council is divided green over white by a lobate border, and has a yellow trident in the upper hoist.

This composition (trident with the arrow below) was the emblem of Ioan Cupcici, moldavian politician of XV century (custodian of the state seal) and landowner. The Cupcici trident is used in municipal symbols of several Moldavian towns:
