Flag of the Diocese of Bjelovar-Križevci - Image by Željko Heimer, 6 March 2017
The Diocese of Bjelovar-Križevci was formed in 2009 by separation from the Archdiocese of Zagreb.
The flag of the diocese, hoisted in front of its seat in Bjelovar, is white, like the town flag of Bjelovar, which was likely inspiration, with the diocesan coat of arms in the centre in front of a white pastoral cross outlined red and with the diocese's name inscribed in red along the bottom edge.
The flag is also used as a gonfalon, with additional inscriptions (probably the names of parishes or congregations) and other minor variations (photos).
The coat of arms of the diocese is equal to the shield of the arms of its first (and current) bishop, Vjekoslav Huzjak. The nishop has been using these arms since his appointment in 2009, with a green gallero with six tassels on each side and with a red ribbon in base inscribed with his motto, "Love God and [your] neighbour", either in Latin (Amare Deum et proximum) or in Croatian (Ljubiti Boga i bližnjega).

Flag of the Diocese of Varaždin - Image by Željko Heimer, 12 September 2016
The Diocese of Varaždin was formed in 1997 by separation from the Archdiocese of Zagreb.
The flag of the diocese, as seen on 4 September 2016 in Ludbreg in the vicinity of the Shrine of the Holy Blood, is vertical, quartered by a thin, yellow Latin cross forming two square fields in the upper part, grayish-blue and Burgundy red, respectively, and two rectangular, blueish-green fields in the lower part. The vertical edges of the flag also have a thin yellow border. The coat of arms of the Diocese, edged yellow, is superimposed over the intersection of the arms of the cross.
The coat of arms of the diocese, "Per fess, 1a. Azure a Latin cross argent between the initials 'M' and 'C' of the same, 1b. Gules two pallets argent, 2. Vert a fess wavy argent between three fleurs-de-lis of the same, 1 and 2". Used since the establishemnt of the Diocese in 1997, the arms use the shield of the arms of the first Bishop, Marko Culej (1938-2006), hence the initials. The scond quarter is a straightforward reference to the flag and arms of the town of Varaždin.
