The group describes itself as follows: "We are militants acting on different fronts (trade union, anti-imperialist, associative ...) with the conviction that our struggles and our demands cannot be completely satisfied in this filthy system that is capitalism. It must be overthrown by the socialist revolution, which will pave the way for a society free from exploitation: the communist society. To help us in this fight, we rely on Marxist-Leninist theory. Organized since 1991 within the PCF as a revolutionary group opposed to the reformist drift of this Party, we broke with the PCF in 2000 and have since worked for the reconstruction of a revolutionary communist party." The flag is a red horizontal background with the logo in yellow outline.

Rassemblement Communiste is a coalition of local Communist groups, one of which is the Coordination Communiste 59-62 (Nord - Pas-de-Calais), which accuse the current PCF, as well as other large leftist organizations, for"revisionism" and intend to create a "true" revolutionary Communist party.

UCL (website) was established on 18 February 2016 as an organization claiming revolutionary struggle as a means to implement communism and to create a genuine Communist Party.
UCL is member of ICOR (International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations); in partnership with the UPML (Union Prolétarienne Marxiste-Léniniste), UCL seeks for the creation of a French coordination of ICOR.

The flag of UCL (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo) is black with the movement's emblem placed on a white disk. The emblem of UCL is composed of a red triangle pointing downwards, with a thin white border outline in red, placed over a black cog-wheel.

Union Prolétarienne Marxiste-Léniniste

UPML (website) aims at unifying communists to rebuild a genuine Communist Party. UPML was founded in September 2016 by a group of militants expelled from OCML-VP (Organisation Communiste Marxiste-Léniniste - Voie Prolétarienne).

The flag of UPML (photo) is red with the movement's emblem in canton.
UPML is member of ICOR (International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations); recently, it used a red flag with the party's emblem (flag excluded), the yellow letters "UPML" below and, close to the flag's bottom, the emblem of ICOR in white (photo).
