Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above is a golden(=yellow) bridge masoned black in a blue field. Below are two black pallets in a silver(=white) field.
Meaning:
According to source the bridge is that one crossing river Eder and giving the municipality its name. The pallets are taken from the arms of the counts of Wittgenstein.
