Dummerstorf Flag

It is a red-white-red horizontal triband with ratio of stripes 1:4:1. The arms without shield are in the middle of the white stripe.

Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a picket fence Gules of six connected palisades.
Meaning:
Each palisade is representing one of the six municipalities, which formed the current Dummerstorf as follows: Damm, Dummerstorf proper, Kavelstorf, Kessin, Lieblingshof and Prisannewitz. They all belonged to the Warnow-Ost Subcounty (German: Amt), which was dissolved in 2009. The cross bracket is representing the connection between the former municipalities. The flag colours are those of the Preen kin, a family of local Mecklenburgian noblemen.
