Shield Argnet, a bridge Sable masoned Argent with two Arches, in chief an impending watermill wheel Gules.
Meaning:
The black bridge (German: Schwarze Brücke or perhaps bridge crossing the Scwarzach) is canting. It should however be mentioned that on flag a silver bridge, realised as grey and masoned black is displayed. The millwheel is alluding to the use of hydropower in the past. Alongside the Schwarzach River there had been numerous mills and forges in the past, all owned by patrician families from Nürnberg, symbolised by the tinctures white and red.
