Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure three plates, at sinister Argent a fir Vert, chief Gules charged with two skis Argent in saltire.
Meaning:
The Feldberg (the mount) region is considered to be the origin of German winter sports, represented by the skis. The fir is symbolising the location in the Black Forest (Schwarzwald). The three plates are symbolising the three former municipalities of Feldberg proper, Altglashütten and Falkau, the three lakes around the mountain and the former production of glass. The tinctures are collected from those of the arms of the former municipalities.
