Description of current flag:
The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a green over white over green horizontal triband with ratio 1:4:1. The coat of arms is in the central stripe and shifted to the hoist.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The silver (= white) shield is divided by a black fess. Above is a red, issuant wolfhead, below a green trefoil and a golden (=yellow) acorn with two green leaves of oak tree.
Meaning:
According to source Elsdorf is situated in the historical Kuzziggau, named after the brothers von Kuzzde in the middle ages. Wolf and bar are taken from the arms of the Kuzzde kin. The lower part is symbolizing forestry in the municipality.
