Shield parted per fess, above Azure three lozenges Argent in fess, beneath Argent parted by a cross patty Sable.
Meaning:
The lozenges are taken from the family arms of the Marshals of Schiltberg, who had been in service of the Dukes of Bayern. The kin ruled a large area that reached the upper valley of the Inn River and included Peissenberg Castle. Schiltberg had been the capital of their possessions. The cross patty is alluding to the Teutonic Order, which had a commandery in Blumenthal. The lords had been supporters of the order and donated it with generosity. The tinctures blue and white are those of Bayern.
