If I've given this a go before I apologize, but I am more likely to have given up on it? It isn't heraldic of course, and I cannot be accurate, but I can give it something which sounds reasonable:
Vert a lozenge composed of ten bezants and ten hurts.
Christopher Southworth

This grape-like phantasy creation with its two swapped elements symbolizes the merger of the two communes. The colour blue stands for Gerra (Verzasca), yellow for Cugnasco.

On 20 April 2008 the communes of Cugnasco and Gerra (Verzasca) merged.
