Description of the flag

According to the attached image provided to me by the City of Hamilton regarding my inquiry, the flag of the (now former) Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth consisted of a horizontal bicolor, blue over yellow, 1:2 in ratio, with the regional seal placed in the middle. The City of Hamilton sent me a document that stated the flag was adopted sometime in 1974, shortly after the official coat of arms was adopted.

The Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth was abolished in 2001, and no longer exists as a current entity; this is a historical flag.
