Cotonou

Cotonou is the largest city and economic capital of  Benin, although Porto-Novo is the capital.  It is located in the south-east of the country on the Atlantic Ocean.  The city is a major port and houses many government and diplomatic services.

The municipal flag is a vertical bi-colour blue and yellow with the municipal emblem in the centre.

I discovered another flag of Cotonou here which has a white background with a "socialistic" type emblem in center and motto Vivre l'excellence dans la solidarite below.
