The flag of the President of the People's Federal Parliament (Rangovna zastava predsjednika Savezne narodne skupštine) was a square tricolour flag with the federal coat of arms in the middle, overlapping the three horizontal stripes.

The Parliament name dropped out the "People's" attribute in 1963, when also the national coat of arms was changed, and the flag of the President of the Parliament was amended accordingly.

The flag of a General and a Chief of Staff of the Territorial Defense of a Republic or an Autonomous Region (Rangovna zastava generala i starješine republiškog odnosno pokrajinskog štaba teritorijalne obrane) was a square white flag with a border made of tricolour bars and the General's emblem in the middle.

The emblem consisted of a sword and a cannon crossed in saltire within a yellow wreath and surmounted with a yellow bordered red star.

The Territorial Defense was a military force organized on subdivision republics level, possibly comparable to the National Guard in the USA. For example, the Territorial Defense of Slovenia formed the core of the emerging Slovenian Army in the 1991 war there.
